Privacy policy

Last updated 18 September 2026

NEXHERE ("the service") lets fans say which city they want to see an artist in and what they could do locally to help, so that the artist can decide where to play. This is what the service collects and how it is used.

What we collect

  • Always: the city you chose, and which artist or project it is for.
  • If you enter them: what you could do locally, and your actual city if it is not in the list.
  • Only if you tick “may contact me”: your display name, email address, social handle and message. If you do not tick it, these are discarded when received and never stored.
  • Automatically: a browser identifier (a cookie) and your IP address, used to prevent duplicate submissions. Both are converted into a one-way hash (HMAC) before they are recorded; your IP address itself is never stored.

Why

  • To count demand and local help city by city, so the artist can decide where to perform.
  • So that the artist or project team can contact people who allowed it, about making a show happen.
  • To prevent repeated or automated submissions.

Who sees what

  • Public pages show only counts per city and counts of local help. Nothing that identifies a person is shown.
  • Contact details go only to the team behind the artist or project you gave permission to. Other projects cannot see them.
  • We do not sell any of this information.

Where it is stored

  • Data is stored with Supabase (database, Tokyo region), and pages are served by Vercel. Both are US companies.

Cookies

  • sig_sid: identifies your browser so the same person is counted once (kept for one year).
  • signal_locale: remembers the language you chose.
  • No advertising or third-party tracking cookies are used.

Retention and removal

  • Information is kept for as long as the project exists.
  • You can see what you sent, remove just your contact details, or delete a signal entirely, from the browser you sent it with, on the “Signals from this browser” page. Because no account is required, the only thing identifying you is a marker stored in that browser. If you cleared it, or are on another device, use the contact below.
